Testimonials
Françoise Grosvalet, Electronique
International Hebdo, France
"I would like to say I greatly appreciate your
welcome last week. It was a very interesting week for
me and I hope it will too be for my readers. All your
organisation was perfect and it was a great pleasure
and benefit for me to be there. "
Caroline Hayes, Editor, Electronic
Product Design, UK
"Just wanted to drop you a line to say how nice
it was to see familiar faces
and to meet new ones at Globalpress' Summit2005 in San
Jose and Monterey. All your hard work paid off - it
was a very enjoyable week and more importantly for my
boss - very fruitful. There were some good stories,
some solid background for features
that are coming up and a chance to make some contacts
and network with established
and emerging companies. I have already written up some
stories from the Summit,
which will appear in the April issue! I will send you
issues with editorial from the Summit as they are published."
Mike Green, Managing Editor, EPN,
U. K.
"The Globalpress Electronic Summits offer editors
from around the world a unique opportunity to tap into
the main nerve of electronics activity; meeting high
level company executives and leading edge engineering
talent. The Globalpress team is highly professional
and supportive of our needs, including implementing
suggestions from the attending editors to refine the
program year after year. This event is an annual must
for the EPN editorial staff!"
Wang Ying, Chief Editor, Electronic
Engineering & Product World (EEPW), China
"We called some readers (electronic designers)
about the articles I wrote following the Globalpress
Electronics Summits. Here is the result:
Most of our readers think that it is effective to directly
learn about the latest products and technologies from
USA. A number of readers in China think they are just
getting part of the whole scenario, mainly reading about
new opportunities in market/application/technology,
but know too little about trends and state-of-the-art
technology in the electronics industry. Attending the
Globalpress Summit for 3 years, EE&PW has greatly
improved the information for our readers."
Alfred Vollmer, Editor, Elektronik
Industrie, Germany
"The Electronics Summit2005 was a first for me
and I got in contact with many different companies within
a week thanks to this unique concept. Writing for the
electronics industry for more than 20 years I never
had such a time-efficient (but yet sometimes strenuous)
week as I had in March 2005 in Monterey. I have avoided
setting up my own press tours since so much time is
wasted for setting up interviews, driving to headquarters
etc. The Globalpress Summit allowed me to focus on my
work instead of on organizing, logistics and driving.
The 2005 summit also allowed me to feel the pulse and
hear the heartbeat of our industry. I received lots
of interesting background information, but I also made
important personal contacts that make my daily editorial
life easier. Most importantly, my editor-in-chief was
very happy because after returning I was able to write
way more than a dozen stories tailored exactly to the
needs of our 20,000 subscribers and readers: virtually
every German-speaking electronics design engineer in
the automotive, industrial, telecom and consumer industry.
A big thank you to the entire Gobalpress team for a
great program and efficient execution. Added-up, Summit
2005 was excellent. I’ll be back – hopefully."
